Under the direction of founder Jane Morgan, this unique six member company has been captivating audiences with its eclectic style of contemporary modern dance, jazz, classical ballet, and comical physical theatre pieces since 1989. Ms. Morgan and her staff have been training North Coast dancers since 1981.

The Apparitions Dance Company does not produce the typical ballerina. While the dancers are all classically trained in ballet, the dances they prefer to perform and choreograph are always unusual. National and international choreographers have also set pieces on Apparitions.

Jane Morgan named her company "Apparitions" because it means "an unexplained occurrence." People alsways ask the dancers, "What was that piece about?" Or, "What does it mean?" It is whatever you think it is.

Five of Ms. Morgan's original Company dancers have received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance and are all dancing professionally in New York, San Francisco, Colorado, and Europe.
