All of the students are invited to showcase their creative talents at the Studio's annual Dance Productions, which incorporate professional choreography, costuming, and staging. Past productions have included performances of The Firebird, A Tribute to the Classics, Thumbelina, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, The Best of Broadway, and Space Odyssey. Also presented are pieces in Jazz, Tap, Modern, Middle Eastern, and Irish Step. Click here to see pictures of some of our past performances. Our
purpose is to enrich our pupils with the rewards of professional instruction.
We provide a well rounded education in all areas of Dance with an emphasis
on a strong ballet foundation. It has been proven that those students with
a good knowledge of ballet can easily move to any other Dance is a glorious form of self expression. We have seen students blossom into graceful, confident individuals prepared to meet the world's challenges.

Many Studio of Dance Arts dancers have received scholarships to major in dance at various colleges (all receiving BFA's): SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance, The California Institute of the Arts, Stanford University, UC Santa Barbara, UC Los Angeles, UC San Francisco, and The London Contemporary School of Dance. |
Scholarships have also been awarded to our students, enabling them to dance at CSU Summer Arts; The California State Summer School for the Arts; The San Francisco Ballet School; The Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington, D.C.; The Lines Contemporary Ballet Company in San Francisco; American Dance Festival, Duke University , Durham, NC; Glenwood Springs Dance Festival, CO; City Ballet of San Francisco; New York University; and Bates Dance Festival, Lewiston, ME. |
